Brucetown UMC History

 Brucetown UMC has a long and rich history dating back more than 150 years to when the cornerstone for the present church was first laid.  But the existing structure was not the first. Another smaller structure once stood to the west of the current church in what now is the cemetery.  

 

Over the course of many years, various church members have conducted exhaustive searches about the history of ClearBrook, Brucetown and the impact of the Civil War on the community.  Periodically, those documents will be scanned and uploaded to this site for all to peruse.
